Grief & Loss
Loss is a profound life experience marked by emotional weight becoming an ongoing healing process. In therapy, we create a space for the pendulum between feeling stuck in loss and finding a path forward. Join me in navigating the emotions of grief, working towards relief. I guide individuals through various losses—humans and non-human, pets. I support non-death losses, which are events considered as life losses, such as career changes, geographic shifts, cultural adjustments, and more. I offer understanding for the grief that follows.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Struggling with OCD can feel overwhelming, but there is hope for relief. In therapy, we delve into the complexities of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, developing personalized strategies to manage intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. Together, we work towards fostering a sense of control, resilience, and a path to a more balanced, empowered life. With more research, I am beginning to integrate Inference based-CBT modalities that help with reducing emotional harm. By allowing Values and Imagination be integrated into treatment allows clients to feel some sense of strength in a condition where they are constantly hopeless.
Social Gender Issues
I hold deep understanding the far-reaching effects of societal gender expectations. Through both personal experiences and shared therapeutic encounters with all genders, I've witnessed the profound impact of societal norms on shaping negative self-perceptions. The effects can be determinately powerful. In therapy, my approach delves into unraveling how these conditional constructs affect each gender uniquely, tailoring interventions to address the broader systems that influence your daily functioning.
